The 7th running of the Toronto Photography Marathon will begin on Saturday April 4th, 2009 12:00 pm at Yonge Dundas Square.

As in the past, participating photographers will then have 24 hours to shoot 12 photos depicting 12 distinct themes on a 12 exposure roll of film, in sequence - that means each photographer has one chance to capture that theme just so.

Online registrations begin on Monday February 16th at torontophotomarathon.com. The fee is $35 which includes film and processing, prizes and free entry into the Exhibit Awards Night.

The Exhibit Awards Night will be held at the Gladstone Hotel on Thursday April 23rd 7:00 pm where the marathoners and their friends gather to enjoy refreshments and live music while judging who took the best shot for each theme.
